Field trip to Vale's Totten Mine

29-30 May 2018

Two days before the conference, we will head out to Vale's Totten Mine - the first new Vale mine in the Sudbury Basin in over 40 years.

Guests will travel thousands of feet below the earth's surface to enjoy a full underground experience.

This new mine was developed with industry-leading environmental management features in order to minimize its footprint on the community.

It utilizes some of the best technology and automation in the industry and will also serve as a testing ground for new autonomous underground mining equipment later this spring.
