概要

由Select Biosciences所举办的第3届Organ-on-a-Chip World Congress 2017聚焦于重要并正在扩张的领域 - 经由微流体及实验室芯片技术之功能性适切方法融合细胞。这些「融合细胞」具有功能意义并足以模仿活体内的器官结构。

举例来说,在具生理意义的结构中使用微流体所组合的肝脏细胞融合芯片可被用在毒性筛选方面。此外在体外组合器官片段的能力,也可提供「在培养皿内」或「在芯片上」重现生理疾病理生物过程一个精确的意义。肺芯片、脑芯片、肠芯片、骨髓芯片、骨头芯片、神经芯片等一定数量的芯片将在本年会中发表及探讨,我们也将聚焦于疾病芯片、癌症芯片及免疫系统芯片等内容。

由于本主题与「3D培养及药物开发中的干细胞」有所重叠,我们将同时同地并行举行前述3大主题分项研讨会,为各位与会者提供涵盖相关领域的所有议题。
